Bandit

Curious, a little cocky, and sneaky by nature, Bandit spends his days living in the Dark Forest and playing hide-and-seek with his friends. His favorite pastime is to try to sneak up on unsuspecting animals and try to scare them. Always keep an eye out; you never know where he might be!

Bandit's character and design is based off a few foxes that live in my neighborhood.

I was working through some sketches and ideas for different characters for the book and hit a lot of deadends. Then when I woke up early one morning, there were two foxes running around through the woods and a lightbulb went on.

I ran to get my camera and was able to get a few salvageable pictures for reference and started to work on the final addition to the book: Bandit.
